Deaconess

I was born and raised in New York, rooted firmly in the Christian faith, which has been a guiding force throughout my life. My passdion is to serve those in need.

My journey into a life of service began while I was working in catering at the World Trade Center. It was there that I discovered my passion for serving others through food, particularly during times of need, such as providing meals to sick and homebound community members.

Subsequently, I transitioned into a role as a special needs teacher at the Herbert G. Birch Early Childhood Center. For 13 years, I dedicated myself to supporting and educating children with diverse needs. After becoming a widow in 2001, I found solace in meaningful community volunteer work.

Volunteering with the American Diabetes Association (ADA) became a significant part of my life, where I served on the Gala Committee and contributed to fundraising efforts. These experiences drew me closer to my true calling as a minister. Additionally, I collaborated with a missionary organization, ADACOM, to provide essential supplies, such as malaria nets and school materials, to families in need in Ghana, Africa.

In 2014, I moved to Florida and was ordained as an elder at the Lion’s Den Mission. There, I served as a leader in the Women's Ministry and participated in the Deliverance and Inner Healing Ministry. The following year, I enrolled in the Florida Theological Chaplaincy and became ordained as a Chaplain, further deepening my commitment to serving those in need. In 2016, I received a secondary ordination as a Disaster Relief Chaplain through the United Nations Chaplain Association. In 2024, I was ordained as an International Police Chaplain. Currently, I am a member of the Beth Yeshua House of the Risen Son.

Throughout my ministry, I have been involved in various aspects of care and support. I have conducted funerals, officiated weddings, provided palliative care, accompanied individuals to medical appointments and dialysis, and offered spiritual guidance.
